BOSTON – The Bruins have made it nine days row with a transaction with Providence by calling up Justin Florek from the P-Bruins on an emergency basis with Jordan Caron sidelined by a sore back. Florek was wearing No. 57 during pregame warm-ups, and it appears he’ll be playing right wing on the fourth line alongside Gregory Campbell and Daniel Paille.

Caron was able to practice on Friday, and it appears the back spasms must have been a little minute issue that cropped up for the B’s winger.

Florek has skated in 34 games with the Providence Bruins this season, and has registered nine goals and 11 assists for 20 points along with a plus-11 rating in a steady campaign for Boston’s AHL farm team. Florek was a fifth round pick of the Bruins in the 2010 NHL Draft that’s produced NHL-level talent in Tyler Seguin, Ryan Spooner and Zach Trotman as well now Florek.

It will be Tuukka Rask vs. Ondrej Pavelec in net for the Bruins and Jets respectively. Here are the line combos and D-pairings based on pregame skate:

Lucic-Krejci-Iginla
Marchand-Bergeron-Smith
Soderberg-Spooner-Fraser
Florek-Campbell-Paille

Chara-Hamilton
Bartkowski-Boychuk
Krug-McQuaid

Rask
