Bruins tough guy Shawn Thornton takes some rapid fire questions in his "Dropping the Gloves" segment with Michael Felger on Cross Check.

Is LeBron James a true warrior for what Felger called "a scratch on the nose"?

Thornton: "A week off with a broken nose. We break ours in fights and keep fighting."

Was he happy to see old Bruins nemesis John Scott of the Sabres pick-pocketed by Reilly Smith to set up Brad Marchand's goal on Wednesday night in Buffalo?

Thornton: "Most of that stuff is over with. I had to fight him last year. He beat the hell out of me. I was hoping we won [the Bruins lost 5-4 in OT]. That would've been more important than turning the puck over."

What Bruin is most likely to miss a game for his birthday, Rondo-style?

Thornton: "Everybody knows it's probably Marshy [Brad Marchand]. He would love to throw himself a birthday party."

Any drunk texting from Tuukka Rask from Sochi at the Olympics?

Thornton: "Where is this rumor coming from? It's terrible. I don't know the time change [between Boston and Sochi], but there was texting and everything seemed fine to me."
