The NHL playoffs begin tonight, but the Bruins and Red Wings don't play until Friday.
That's a long time in between games, but it's yet to be determined whether that's a good or bad things for the Bruins.
Both the Bruins and Wings are dealing with some injuries, but the B's also don't want to lose steam with such a long time off.
So does that long layoff help the Bruins or Wings more?
"I am in the minority, thinking that the Bruins actually benefit from (the layoff) a lot more." said Fred Toucher, "The Red Wings have some injuries, but I don't think the players that are injured now are going to benefit from a day."
