"We're here to win it all, so we're disappointed," is how Bruins general manager summed up the team's feelings after they were eliminated in seven games in the second round of the playoffs by Montreal Canadiens.
"Every player to a T that I've seen this morning has said we should have been there and gone all the way or we will be there next year," Chiarelli said as he met the media while the team packed away its equipment for the season on Friday.
"This is a very good team. There's some tweaks [to be done] here or there...," Chiarelli said. "It's very emotional. And it's my job to be unemotional about it...I'm not going to gut this team because some players didn't play well."
