Howard Bloom hinted on Twitter that the NHL could expand to 34 teams by 2017, bringing teams to Quebec City, Toronto, Seattle and Las Vegas.
Steve Buckley isn't fond of the idea.
"I think it's a bad idea," said Buckley. "The problem with the National Hockey League is I don't think there are enough players on the planet to play that level of hockey year round.
"I think it's a cash grab by the NHL. I think, already there are too many teams playing pro hockey."
Andy Gresh has a suggestion for the NHL.
"If anything, relocate some of your markets that you already have who need a boost at the gate," said Gresh.
