SUNRISE, Fla. – The game of musical chairs with the Bruins defensemen corps continued on Thursday night as stay-at-home blueliner Adam McQuaid was a healthy scratch. Claude Julien was adamant that it wasn’t just about the young three defensemen (Torey Krug, Matt Bartkowski and Dougie Hamilton) being the healthy scratches throughout the season, and that would appear to be the case.

Most focused on the goaltenders rather than the forwards, or the defensemen, with Tuukka Rask and Tim Thomas facing each other for the first time at the BB&T Center home of the Florida Panthers.

It didn’t appear that Thomas acknowledged anybody on the Bruins’ side during the morning skate, so it’s all business for the 39-year-old facing his former team for the first time. It didn’t appear there were any changes among the forwards for the Bruins, but that could change if their offensive slowdown continues for another game.

Here are the line combinations and D-pairings based on the pregame warm-up:

Lucic-Krejci-Iginla
Smith-Bergeron-Eriksson
Marchand-Kelly-Caron
Paille-Campbell-Thornton

Chara-Hamilton
Bartkowski-Seidenberg
Krug-Boychuk
