BruinsRed Wings: 5 from the Third

CSNNE.comDETROIT Here are five thoughts from the third period of Boston's 4-2 loss to the Red Wings.1)One shot on net for Nathan Horton. Maybe its time to stop using the stick with the price tag on it.2)Pretty amazing that Mark Stuart managed to be the only plus player for the Bruins in his first game back in a couple of weeks.3)Todd Bertuzzi potted a pair of goals for Detroit and has officially become a Bruins killer this season after the last two games. Four goals in two games. He had eight going into the two games with Boston.4)Wont get into too much of the Mario Lemieux statement today, but when he sounds like an Andrew Ference-described hypocrite when he rails on about the safety of the players and still employs Matt Cooke after last season.5)Tim Thomas has allowed 11 goals in his last three games, and looks like his hot streak might be coming to an end. Bruins are 3-7-2 against Western Conference opponents. There are some disturbing trends that continued for the Bs today.
