Bruins sign Svedberg to a 1-year, 1-way contract

The Boston Bruins announced on Thursday that the team has signed goaltender Niklas Svedberg to a one-year, one way contract. 

Svedberg played one game with Boston last season, making 33 saves while earning a win against the Nashville Predators.

In the 2013-2014 season, the 24-year-old finished the Providence Bruins season with a 25-15-4 record with a 2.63 goals against average with a .910 save percentage.

Svedberg has compiled a 66-27-6 record in 102 games in the AHL.
