BOSTON - The Bruins will be sporting a much more youthful look than usual along their back line as first- or second-year players Dougie Hamilton, Torey Krug, Kevan Miller and Matt Bartkowski are all in the lineup against the talented St. Louis Blues.

It will be Miller’s first NHL appearance in his third season with the Bruins organization, and marks a big accomplishment for the former University of Vermont standout.

Tuukka Rask will be playing his third game in four nights after stealing a win vs. the Rangers with a 43-save effort, and he’ll be countered by St. Louis' Jaroslav Halak with a 2.38 goals-against average and .903 save percentage. The Bruins will need their level-best as their 14-6-1 record this season wouldn’t even be good enough for a top-eight playoff spot in the Western Conference if the season ended today.

Thankfully, the season doesn’t end for a long, long time, so here are the forward combos and D-pairings based on pregame warm-up:

Lucic-Krejci-Iginla
Marchand-Bergeron-Eriksson
Soderberg-Kelly-Smith
Paille-Campbell-Thornton

Chara-Hamilton
Bartkowski-Boychuk
Krug-Miller
