Bruins 3, Oilers 2: Talking Points

Share

Nathan Horton set the tone early in a game that the Bruins really didnt wan to let slip through their fingers, and did it with his fists and his hockey skills. Horton saw Theo Peckham take a run at David Krejci in the first period with the Bs already down 1-0, and he knocked Peckham out of the game with one monstrous punch to the fight face. Then he scored Bostons second goal of the first period after a brilliant cross-ice pass from David Krejci, and has amassed 10 points (4 goals, 6 assists) in his last 10 games. When Horton shows up like he did on Sunday night in Edmonton, the Bruins see exactly how good their right wing can be.
