Beleskey-Krejci-Pastrnak tops Bruins lineup vs. Wings

WILMINGTON, Mass. – The Bruins will again feature the Matt Beleskey-David Krejci-David Pastrnak line that’s been together for the majority of camp as they take their preseason act on the road and face the Detroit Red Wings at Joe Louis Arena on Saturday night. The Bruins went through two camp practices on Saturday morning at Ristuccia Arena to get ready for the game and get their camp work in. They featured Saturday night’s lineup in the first practice session.

Former Providence College captain Noel Acciari will get a preseason look against the Wings as will Anthony Camara, a Bruins prospect that’s fallen a bit off the radar the past couple of seasons. With Jeremy Smith and Malcolm Subban as the two goalies headed to Detroit, one might expect this to be the night that Subban gets a full game to show what he can do in the competition for the backup goalie spot.

Smith was below average in giving up three goals on 25 shots against the Rangers on Thursday night, and will dress for the Detroit game along with Subban.

Zdeno Chara (upper body), who left the preseason victory over the Rangers after taking a first-period hit, was missing from the practice ice at the first session after being deemed "day-to-day" by the Bruins on Friday. Still, it should be noted that most of the players from Thursday night's game are skating in the second session rather than this first one.

Here are the line combos and D-pairings expected to take the ice at the Joe, where the game unfortunately won’t be broadcast on television or radio tonight:
