On Sports Tonight, even Michael Felger couldn't find anything to complain about in the Bruins' 3-0 victory over the defending Stanley Cup champion Chicago Blackhawks.
That came as news to B's radio analyst Bob Beers.
"First of all, if anybody can find anything to complain about it would be you," he told Felger. Beers said Thursday night was a case of the Bruins getting better as the game went on. An example? Carl Soderberg.
"In the first period, he kind of got swallowed up," Beers said. "By the third period, he got the puck in deep and it ends up in the back of the net [to give Boston a 2-0 lead]."
Patrice Bergeron added his second goal of the night 13 seconds later and the Bruins were on their way to what Beers called "a pretty impressive win all the way around."
