DETROIT – The Bruins had Matt Bartkowski in for pregame warm-ups after he’d missed the first two games due to a horrendous gastrointestinal virus, and he’ll be returning against the Detroit Red Wings in Game 3 at Joe Louis Arena. Amazingly the Bruins are making changes despite only allowing two goals in the first two playoff games against the Winged Wheels, but have given Bartkowski ample time to recover from the nasty illness that felled him.
Meszaros was so-so in Game 1 against the Red Wings, but had played pretty well in Boston’s 4-1 win in Game 2. Otherwise there are no changes for the Black and Gold as they take the ice in Detroit, and look for their first win at the Joe dating back to March 11, 2007.
