COLUMBUS – It looks like the Bruins will shake up their lineup ever so slightly after suffering their first loss of the season against the Colorado Avalanche a couple of days ago. Matt Bartkowski looks like he’ll get his first action of the season stepping in as the left defenseman paired with Dennis Seidenberg, and 20-year-old Dougie Hamilton will be a healthy scratch after sitting out the line rushes during pregame warm-ups.

Bartkowski was the leading point scorer for the B’s during a generally solid training camp, and Hamilton hadn’t really distinguished himself much in the opening three games of the season. Either way Bruins coach Claude Julien had been adamant in recent days that Bartkowski “wasn’t going to sit for a month”, and that a rotation through seven quality defensemen is a potential reality for the Black and Gold.
