It's never a good sign when you must get out of the collection of teams dubbed the "Group of Death" to advance in the World Cup.
That's exactly what the United States must do after the World Cup kicks off on Thursday.
Dalen Cuff is joined by Chris Tierney, Darrius Barnes and A.J. Soares to discuss what the U.S. needs to do to get out of group play.
"I think it's their defending," said Tierney. "They have to be solid defensively and hit teams on the counter. The less goals we concede, the more chances we'll have on the break."
Soares believes an individual can make the difference for the U.S.
"For me, it's Michael Bradley," said Soares. "If he shows his quality, if he plays best eleven, which he's capable of doing, the U.S. has a good chance."
