Michael Felger joins Arbella Early Edition to discuss the U.S team advancing in the World Cup

Even with a loss to Germany, the United States still advances.

Michael Felger joined Arbella Early Edition to discuss the importance of Thursday's game.

"It wasn't the greatest performance or the greatest win, obviously they lost," said Felger. "People ask when U.S. soccer will arrive, I think it's arrived. Not on a championship level, but I'll tell you what, say that same thing about 25 of the 32 nations in [the World Cup]."

Felger believes a United States World Cup game on the 4th of July weekend  will only help soccer in the country.

"By surviving today, it gives you the chance to have that weekend, I thought today was very important."
