Thanks to a young core of players, the Revs have been getting better. Three of the team's four leaders in points are 21 or younger, led by midfielder Kelyn Rowe.
"You have a young core, you have a young attacking core," said Rowe, 21. "You have guys like Diego Fagundez, Andrew Farrell coming out of the back, Juan Agudelo, myself, a lot of guys in there who are doing very well."
Fagundez, Agudelo and Rowe are among the team's leading scorers. Fagundez, an 18-year-old, has a team-high nine points, while Rowe is close behind with eight.
"You have so many young players that are waiting to get some chances," said Fagundez, who mentioned other role players like Andrew Ferrell and Scotty Caldwell.
Of the team's seven players to see at least 1,000 minutes on the field (goalkeepers the exception), four of them are under 25.
"When a young player gets going and gets on a run, there's not much stopping him," Rowe said.
