Gronk goes to Hollywood

One more quick post before we head into the weekend, and this one is serious business.

It's a story about one man. One dream. And his quest to maintain the most ridiculous human existence known to man.

This is about Gronk.
Patriots TE Rob Gronkowski will be the Oscars Red Carpet correspondent for @theeisenpodcast @richeisen, conducting interviews with the stars NFL Media PR (@InsideNFLMedia) February 14, 2013Yeah, that's right. If you haven't heard, the Summer of Gronk (Phase 2) is already well underway (in February). And as you obviously now, his next stop is the Oscars, where he'll work the Red Carpet as a correspondent for Rich Eisen and his similarly name podcast.

Frankly, I can't wait. I know a lot of folks in this town get all whacked out about Gronk's extra-curriculars, but I think it's greatespecially when those extra-curriculars lead to him standing on a red carpet, with a microphone, interviewing some of the most vain and humorless people in the world right before the biggest night of their life.

It's a recipe for comedy gold. In fact, as long as he doesn't make a pass at Emmanuelle Riva, or slap a DDT on DDL or just get drunk and do the naked worm through one of Ryan Seacrest's live shots, I don't see how it can go wrong.

Same goes for your weekend. Have a good one.
