Manny Ramirez is making a come back.

According to a report from FoxSports.com, the former Red Sox slugger, has hired agents and applied for reinstatement from MLB's voluntary retired list.

Ramirez retired in April after violating MLB's Joint Drug Prevention and Treatment Program for the second time in his career.

The 39-year-old right-handed hitter from the Dominican Republic will be eligible to play after serving a 50-game suspension, Fox reports. He played in five games for the Tampa Bay Rays last season, going just 1-for-17.

Ramirez has hired Barry Praver and Scott Shapiro as his agents, the report states.
