Adrian Gonzalez wanted to pitch. He was clearly trying to do anything he could to help the team get a win in Sunday's 17-inning marathon game against the Baltimore Orioles at Fenway Park, because he sure wasn't hitting.

The game lasted over six and a half hours, and unfortunately for the Sox, it wasn't worth it. Darnell McDonald gives up a three-run home run in the 17th inning, and that was the difference, as the Sox lost, 9-6.
