BOSTON - A 22-year-old woman is in the hospital after falling down two floors of an elevator shaft at Fenway Park.
According to Boston Fire Department's Twitter account, at 11:17 they responded to the incident at Gate B.
The elevator shaft doors opened on the 4th floor, but the elevator was not there. The woman fell into the shaft somehow, landing on the the roof of the elevator.
Firefighters entered the elevator on the second floor and used a small ladder to go through the hatch. The victim was boarded and lowered through the hatch and transported to Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital.
As of the early hours on Saturday, the victim's condition was unknown, but ESPNBoston reports the woman is in critical but stable condition.
