Will the Red Sox be sellers at the trade deadline?

As the season rolls along, a big question for the Red Sox is if they are out of the running for a playoff spot, will they become sellers at the trade deadline?

Although Red Sox Insider Sean McAdam believes the Red Sox would be very active at the deadline, he doesn't believe they will 'blow it up.'

"I can see them operating almost parallel tracks, where their moving Nava, Atchison and Shoppach." said McAdam. "You're moving those guys, but also looking to acquire people to help you this year and beyond."

When asked if the team would be interested in getting rid of Josh Beckett, McAdam doesn't feel Beckett would be sorely missed by Red Sox Nation.

"There would not be storming of Yawkey Way with pitchforks and anything else if they decided to unload that contract."
