John Tomase of the Boston Herald joins Gary Tanguay and Mike Felger to discuss the MLB postseason race, and who the Red Sox may face in the ALDS.

There are still a few teams that could line up against the Sox, including the Rays, Rangers, Indians, and Yankees.

So which team should the Sox want to play the most? Tomase says the Indians and the Yankees would give the best chance to Boston, but later says that since the Rays and Rangers aren't playing well, the Sox could play them too.

Basically, avoiding the Tigers until the ALCS would be in the best interest of the Sox, as they pose the biggest threat.

The trio then discusses what the Red Sox should do with Jarrod Saltalamacchia, who is due to hit free agency. Should they give him the qualifying offer, which is up around $14 million, or try to work out a multi-year deal for less money per year?
