There were two Clay Buchholz last season for the Red Sox: pre-injury and post-injury.
The pre-injury Buchholz was dominant. His ERA was 1.71 in 84.1 innings pitched. But then he went down with back/neck pain in early June and wasn't seen again until September. He was still effective upon his return, but clearly not the same, and pitching with pain into the playoffs.
Staying healthy has always been an issue for Buchholz. Will it continue to be?
