BOSTON -- On Saturday afternoon in Pawtucket, Shane Victorino will get his first taste of game action since spring training.
According to Red Sox manager John Farrell, Victorino will play in right field and get three at-bats as the PawSox take on the Buffalo Bisons starting at 1:05 pm.
"He'll go again Monday and Tuesday and we'll re-evaluate where things are after those three games total," Farrell said.
Victorino is recovering from a strained hamstring that has kept him out of the lineup through the early part of the season. He dealt with the flu, which set back his rehab, but he began to ramp up baseball activities last week.
