Update: CSNNE's Maureen Mullen said that PawSox manager Gary Disarcina told reporters that Jackie Bradley Jr. left Tuesday's game with discomfort after making a throw.
Trade winds appeared to be blowing Tuesday night when Jackie Bradley Jr. was pinch hit for in the PawSox game the night before Major League Baseball's July 31 trade deadline.
But CSNNE.com's Red Sox Insider Sean McAdam has learned otherwise. McAdam reported via Twitter that there is currently no deal involving Bradley Jr. despite being taken out of Tuesday's game.
Told that there is nothing involving a deal with JBJ, who was PH for in Pawtucket tonight. #RedSoxTalk— Sean McAdam (@Sean_McAdam) July 31, 2013
Bradley Jr. could be a potential piece if the Sox are to make a run at a big-name player by Wednesday's deadline. But as of right now, it appears he's here to stay.
