In just one season, Will Middlebrooks has gone from a rookie phenom to a major disappointment. 

Not even midway through his second big league season, Middlebrooks was sent down to Triple A Pawtucket after hitting just .192 with nine home runs in 53 games this season.

These dreadful results made Middlebrooks a unanimous decision by the members of The Show for one of the three most disappointing Red Sox players this season.

"We thought he was another Evan Longoria, he's hitting like Eva Longoria this year," Chris Gasper said. "Rough season for Will Middlebrooks, I think it speaks to the fact that he's in the minor leagues.
