Should Dustin Pedroia play this weekend? Not if you ask the Sports Tonight guys.
"I don't understand. Take your time with him because you don't want a repeat of what happened a couple years ago with his foot when he missed the rest of the season," said the Boston Herald's John Tamase. "Discretion is the better part of valor."
For Dustin Pedroia it's not such a big deal.
"I have to have it calm down," he said on Thursday. "That's basically it. It's like a guy who hurts his hamstring or tears a muscle in his hamstring. I'm just treating it that way and trying to get back out there."
But isn't it the Red Sox' job to take care of their players, no matter what they say? What do you think? Let us know in the comment box below.
