The Red Sox are sitting in second place behind the Yankees in the American League East.

With their recent struggles against Minnesota, Toronto, and Texas, Michael Holley wonders if that would lead to the Red Sox becoming the 77 or 75 win that he expected to see coming into the season.

Dan Shaughnessy thinks it will be very difficult for the Red Sox to struggle that much, especially with Jon Lester and Clay Buchholz at the top of the rotation.

"I don't think it was going to got that far south because of the Lester, Buchholz thing.  It's just been too good." said Shaughnessy, "That really insulates you against that kind of bottoming out.

"With those two guys coming around every turn, I think that is going to be hard to do."
