Shaughnessy: Did Buchholz show true colors vs Yankees?

Clay Buchholz pitched like the ace everyone hoped he could be against the Philadelphia Phillies on Opening Day.

His second start didn't go quite as well.

The New York Yankees knocked him around for a tune of seven runs in the first inning, and it didn't get any better from there.

But which one was the real Clay Buchholz?

Dan Shaughnessy joined Sports Sunday to discuss the rocky start to his season.

"You had no faith that [his first start] was sustainable," said Shaughnessy. "He had a great game, he's always been capable of that, he's got great stuff. He's been here eight years and you had a feeling, this won't last. We didn't think it'd be this fast, though. To his credit, he did take a beat-down for the team [Sunday]."
