Curt Schilling's video game company, 38 Studios, filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy protection Thursday, according to multiple reports.
It appears as though Schilling has given up trying to save his sinking ship with the help of additional capital from the state or outside investors. And it's a good thing, because until today it was unknown just how deep in the hole Schilling was.
According to his bankruptcy filing, per the Boston Globe, the company indicated it had more than 1,000 creditors who were owed a total of 100 million to 500 million.
