Reddick had Crawford's surgery, says he'll be fine

BOSTON -- Josh Reddick underwent surgery earlier in the offseason on his left wrist, the same surgery Sox left fielder Carl Crawford had on Tuesday.
And the former Red Sox outfielder has words of encouragement for his ex-teammates."It's not that tough of a rehab process as long as you're there working out, and we know Carl always works out, Reddick, who was traded to Oakland in the Andrew Bailey deal, said Thursday night at the Boston Baseball Writers Dinner. He'll be just fine.
"From what I've read he'll be missing Opening Day and at most he's going to miss maybe a week. You don't want to come back too quick from it. But he'll be fine.
