The Red Sox continued to play musical chairs with their pitching staff Friday, recalling right-hander Rubby De La Rosa from Pawtucket and shipping right-hander Alex Wilson -- the loser in Thursday's extra-inning game in Baltimore -- back to the PawSox.
De La Rosa, 24, was 0-1 with a 3.29 ERA in Pawtucket this year, but had a 1.14 ERA in his last eight outings, covering 31 2/3 innings and dating back to April 23. He last pitched Saturday at Syracuse and will be available for tonight's game against the Orioles.
Wilson had just been called up Thursday to replace Alfredo Aceves, who was summoned to start Wednesday night's game against Tampa Bay and was sent back down immediately afterwards. Wilson worked 2 2/3 innings Thursday night.
