Anthony Ranaudo will get another start with the big league club.

Ranaudo was called up to the Red Sox on Tuesday, and is scheduled to make his second career start against the Reds Wednesday night in Cincinnati. The team will skip Brandon Workman in the rotation.

Ranaudo made his debut in July against his hometown Yankees, earning his first career win in the process pitching 6.0 innings, allowing four hits and four walks while striking out two.

He's 13-4 with a 2.58 ERA and 1.18 WHIP with the PawSox this season. He has 104 strikeouts in 125.2 innings pitched.

Edwin Escobar was optioned back to Pawtucket yesterday to make room for the move.
