The hope is that Gold Gloves pale in comparison to what the Dustin Pedroia and Shane Victorino could win Wednesday night.
But for now, anyways, it'll do.
Both Pedroia and Victorino were awarded Gold Gloves for their superb play at second base and right field, respectively, this season for the Red Sox.
It's Victorino's fourth Gold Glove of his career, the first three of which came with the Phillies with him in center field. He had a .989 fielding percentage this season,
For Pedroia, it's his third Gold Glove. He had a .933 fielding percentage this season.
Jacoby Ellsbury was a finalist in center field, but lost out to the Orioles' Adam Jones.
Cardinals ace Adam Wainwright won in the NL.
