Dustin Pedroia had one of the best seats in the house to see two of his teammates -- Jon Lester and David Ortiz -- put together stellar performances.
From his spot at second base, Pedroia watch Lester throw 7.2 innings of four-hit, one-run ball.
"He was unbelievable, attacking the zone," Pedroia said. "That's why he's our ace, man. Big-game pitcher, getting us back home. Just gotta win one more so it's a good feeling."
In the first inning, Pedroia was standing on second base when David Ortiz came through with yet another hit -- this one an RBI double to give Boston a 1-0 lead.
"He's locked in," Pedroia said with a smile. "We gotta get him up with some runners on base."
If the Red Sox can do that, with the way Ortiz is going, this series may not last much longer.
