The Pawtucket PawSox surprised many by going all the way to the Triple A Championship Game in Durham, North Carolina.

Unfortunately, the story book ending they were hoping for never came. The PawSox lost the championship to the Reno Aces by a score of 10-3.

The Aces knocked around PawSox starting pitcher Nelson Figueroa early on in the game, tagging him for three runs in the first inning and three more in the second.

By then, the PawSox were in too big of a hole to dig themselves out of.

The PawSox official website has more.
