When Jonathan Papelbon entered yesterday's game, he ran in from the bullpen to the sound of boos from the Fenway crowd.
The former Red Sox closer recorded his 10th save of the season for the Phillies as they beat the Red Sox 3-1 last night.
"I really wasn't thinking about it," said Papelbon, who helped bring the Red Sox a World Series title in 2007. "I was taking it like normally like I would any other game."
It was Papelbon's first appearance at Fenway Park since he signed with the Phillies after the 2011 season.
"It felt like old times, just in a different uniform," he said.
