12:14 P.M. -- Well, this is what weve all been waiting for.
Exactly 190 days since Robert Andinos single strapped the Red Sox to a guillotine, and Evan Longorias homer lopped off their heads and incited a mutiny (sorry, been watching a lot of Game of Thrones), the Sox are back!
To celebrate, here are 190 reasons why Im excited for Red Sox season . . .
Just kidding. That would be awful. Instead, I present you with this live blog.
From Verlanders first pitch, right up until Acevess first save, Ill have you covered right here with constant updates and analysis.
When Jacoby jacks his first homer? Ill be there. When the cameras catch Prince Fielder devouring a plate of BBQ chicken nachos in the dugout? Ill be there. When Bobby V. has a hunch and pinch runs Josh Beckett for Jarrod Saltalamacchia in the seventh inning? Ill be there. And hopefully youll be, too.
Theres no rhyme or reason to when Ill be posting. Just know that I will be posting during innings, in between innings, every time Don overlaughs at one of Remys jokes so keep clicking, and provide any and all commentaryobservationsquestions of your own in the box below.
Until then . . .
