New York Times sells remaining share of Fenway Sports Group

The perceived conflict between the Boston Globe and Boston Red Sox appears to be over.

The New York Times, which owns the Boston Globe, has sold its remaining share of Fenway Sports Group, including the Boston Red Sox, for 63 million.

NYT bought into the company for 75 million when the new ownership took over in 2002, and has sold off some of it since, turning a nice profit.

The sale to "multiple buyers" ends that partial ownership.
