The Nationals have completed a deal for Athletics pitcher Gio Gonzalez, according to reports.
The Nats apparently will send multiple prospects to Oakland, including pitchers Brad Peacock, A.J. Cole and Tommy Milone and catcher Derek Norris.
ESPN was the first to report the story.
The Red Sox had reportedly been one of the teams interested in signing Gonzalez, a lefty, to bolster the starting rotation.
