Monday night marked the debut of The Show, CSNNE's newest show dedicated to the Boston Red Sox and MLB action.

Trenni Kusnierek hosts and Rich Levine, Chris Gasper, and Mark Bertrand give their takes on all things Red Sox.

The crew had a very special guest Monday night, as current Red Sox first baseman Mike Napoli called in to discuss the team's season to date.

The Red Sox currently sit at the top  of the American League, quite a surprising position for them when you consider where many thought they'd place this season in the Al East . . . last.

Napoli has been a big reason for their success, and has come through on numerous occasions for them. Even better, he's been healthy throughout the year. Perhaps that is in part due to him not having to be behind the plate . . . something he's not mad about.

"I don't miss it one bit (laughs). I do miss it but I don't miss the physical part," Napoli said on CSNNE's The Show. "The way I feel at this point in the season is kind of crazy to me. My body feels great. I feel healthy and I'm not banged up. So I really don't miss it. I miss being back there trying to chess match and working with the pitchers, but just the physical part, I don't miss that."

Check out the video for the rest of the interview with Napoli, including his thoughts on playing with David Ortiz.
