Joel Hanrahan blew his first save of the season Wednesday against the Orioles. He gave up five runs on a wild pitch -- which initially tied up the game, 5-5 -- and two home runs.
"I'm gonna come here tomorrow and be ready to go," said the newly-acquired Sox closer. "It's not the first time I've blown a save and it's probably not going to be the last. It's part of the game. It's how it goes sometimes."
Sean McAdam thinks it is something for the team to be concerned about, at least temporarily.
"That's not how you draw it up when you trying to close a game out . . . What looked to be a pretty impressive and efficient win turns into an ugly loss in the ninth inning."
