Last week, Toronto broadcasters charged Clay Buchholz with doctoring baseballs at Rogers Centre after he threw seven shutout innings to beat the Blue Jays.

The Jays never accused Buchholz of any wrongdoing, and the umpiring crew at that game never investigated Buchholz for any illegal activity on the mound.

On Wednesday, Yahoo! Sports' Jeff Passan reported that using sunscreen is common among the members of the Red Sox pitching staff, according to a source close to the team.

On Wednesday's SportsNet Central, CSNNE Red Sox Insider Sean McAdam said that Red Sox Nation can expect the noise to die out since there hasn't been an official complaint.
