The list of surgeries keep piling up for Ryan Kalish.
The Red Sox outfielder will undergo cervical fusion surgery in Los Angeles Tuesday, his fourth surgical procedure since 2011.
Kalish has already missed all of this season while recovering from right shoulder surgery he got in January. The 25-year-old had neck and left shoulder surgery in 2011.
This marks yet another setback for Kalish since he made a diving catch in Triple A Pawtucket that caused the initial ailment. Since then, it appears things simply haven't gotten better.
The most recent surgery is reportedly not considered career-threatening, and Kalish still has hopes of returning for spring training next year.
