In today's first game against the Royals, Red Sox left fielder Jonny Gomes is using a bat that he had engraved with the names of those killed in last week's terrorist attacks: Martin Richard, Lu Lingzi, Krystle Campbell, and officer Sean Collier. Their names were engraved underneath the city's adopted rallying cry "Boston Strong."
