Red Sox pitcher Jake Peavy is fairly new to the team, having been traded to the Sox during last season.
It's clear that he fits right in though. Peavy is one of the biggest competitors around, often times showing his emotion out there on the field. That got the crew of The Baseball Show wondering what's going on out there with him.
"It's usually frustration and not being able to throw the ball exactly where you want to throw it," Peavy said. "I don't think you can be as good as you can be at anything if you're not striving perfection."
Peavy couldn't say exactly what he says (yells) to himself on the mound, but said he tries to keep it PG-13 out there.
Speaking of PG-13, Peavy also gets confused for a couple of actors: Jeremy Renner and Channing Tatum. Hey, it could be a lot worse than that.
"A little of both I guess. And that's crazy to me," Peavy said. "And I just roll with it too. If you come up and say some movie, 'Hurt Locker' or . . . what's the one where Channing Tatum was dancing around? Mike something . . . 'Magic Mike'. And I just roll with it and take pictures."
Peavy also goes on to talk about why he lives in the middle of nowhere, and just what happened to that Duck Boat of his that he shipped back to his home from Boston. Check out the video for more.
