While his "Uno Sports Tonight" co-host Gary Tanguay doesn't see a deal for Josh Beckett happening, Michael Felger thinks it's "entirely possible."
"It might not be in the next 24 hours," says Felger, pointing out that waiver trades can still be made up to Sept. 1.
Even with the Red Sox having to pay, say, 20 million of the 37 million Beckett is owed, Felger sees a situation that mirrors what happened when the Red Sox dealt disgruntled stars Nomar Garciaparra and Manny Ramirez in deadline trades in 2004 and 2008.
"I would not be surprised at all," Felger said.
Tanguay isn't buying it: "Not gonna happen," he said.
