With the Red Sox struggling to gain any kind of momentum, and possible targets looking cost-prohibitive, it seems less and less likely that the Red Sox will make any kind of impact acquisition at the deadline. Depending on how this weekend series in New York goes, it seems more likely that the Sox will ship out some of their role players or perhaps even a larger name.
