Clay Buchholz had a great start to the 2013 season.  Since the incident in Toronto, Clay Buchholz has looked a little shaky.

Since the incident in Toronto, Steve Buckley believes the Red Sox looked a little shaky in his next start.

"The only concern I have is that after the whole business with the scuffing the ball, whatever he was doing with the foreign substance in Toronto, he seemed really out of sorts his next outing at Fenway Park." said Buckley.

Buckley observed that Buchholz might get thrown off his game relatively easily.

"Bobby Valentine threw him off his game.  He got his groove back when John Farrell came back.  We've seen him when he makes nine-thousand throws over to first base." Added Buckley, "All I'm saying is he is a continual work in progress who's id needs to be monitored all the time."

I was looking for any sign whatsoever that he was just a little fidgety because of that. I saw that little sign" Buckley observed after the Toronto accusations, "Am I thinking he's going to go two and ten the rest of the season? No.  We saw in his last two starts including (Friday) night, that he's right back on his game again. But, it's a work in progress."
